Meghan Markle accused of 'acquiring' Prince Harry

According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle has "completely and completely taken over" of Prince Harry.

Tina Brown made the comment during an interview with the Telegraph and called Meghan's impact on the Duke of Sussex a "really sad thing".

The author accused the Duchess of Sussex of turning her husband "into a man so emotionally needy that he has been completely and utterly taken over by Meghan and his entire personality has changed."

"Meghan answers some great need in Harry and they seem to be in a mighty codependency. And I question how this will end."

The remarks came after claims that the Duke and Duchess had not had a "successful return" to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Royal commentator Angela Mollard suggested his stay was not as successful as he had hoped, failing even to secure a photo of his daughter Lillibet with the Queen.

Asked whether Meghan and Harry's return to Britain could be counted as a victory, Ms Mollard told Sunrise: "No. They haven't got a picture of her with the Queen and Lillibet."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are believed to be working on a series with Netflix about the royal family and their new lives away from the monarchy.
