Prince Harry arrives in UK for Meghan Markle jubilee with Archie, Lillibet

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met with Archie and Lillibet in the UK on Wednesday evening

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met with their children Archie and Lillibet in the UK on Wednesday evening, reports The Daily Mail.

The visit marks the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first visit to the UK with their children, Archie and Lillibet, since stepping down as senior royals in 2020 and later moving to the UK.

While a Scotland Yard spokesman declined to comment on the 'special' security arrangements for Prince Harry and Meghan, it is reported that the Duke was informed that specialist officers would guard his family upon arrival.

The visit to Sussex comes as Prince Harry remains embroiled in a legal battle with the Home Office over his decision to be denied protection in the UK, with the Duke famously saying he is 'unable to return home' due to security fears.

The couple is expected to stay at their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, and attend a service of thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral on Friday. They will also celebrate Lillibet's first birthday with the Queen.
