Elvis Presley's ex-wife Priscilla recently revealed that the legendary singer was not "racist in any way".

According to Insider, the iconic crooner's ex-wife appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Tuesday, where she spoke on "cancellation culture" and how Elvis will be able to cope with it in the present day.

"He's never been a racist. Elvis had friends, black friends, friends," the 77-year-old said.

The businessman continued, "He loved his music. He loved his style. He loved being around, you know, black musicians"

In addition, the Love Is Forever actress noted the iconic crooner's friendship with two black musicians Domino and Sammy Davis Jr.

"They always came into the dressing room when Elvis performed in Las Vegas," she remarked.

For those unaware, Elvis was slammed by black musicians.

Grammy-winning musician and producer Quincy Jones shared that he "won't work with Elvis" while calling him a "racist" in a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

In 1994, Ray Charles also revealed in an NBC interview that he hated Elvis, saying, "To say that Elvis was so great and so transcendent, like he's a king... Whose king? He's like us." So what am I going to be so excited about?"
