Late actor Ray Liotta's 'Black Bird' co-stars pay tribute to his memories at series premiere

Following his sudden death, Ray Liotta's co-stars are paying tribute at the project's premiere Black Bird.

In a recent chat with ET during the red carpet of the event, the stars opened up about their memories with the famous actor.

During the interview, Taron Egerton, who played Ray's son on the series, recalled the actor's passion for the screenplay and talked about the deep on-screen relationship they shared.

"I fell in love with him immediately," Egerton reminisced. He recalled, "We developed a very, very, very close relationship, and I had a very special time filming those scenes. I'm so happy with how they turned out."

Another star of the show, Paul Walter Houser, walked the carpet wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Liotta's Field of Dreams character as a tribute to the late actor.

Houser commented that he was a big fan of Liotta's work, "so many great performances he left behind. It was great to meet him, he was really generous and funny."

Then he continued, "Ray is one of those people — he can't be Ray. He's funny sometimes without knowing it. It was a real pleasure to be in his presence for that short amount of time."

Greg Kinnear shared how he was a fan of Liotta even before the start of his career.

He recalled, "Before I was an actor I had seen a film by Jonathan Demme, Something Wild, it became one of my favorite films." Kinnear praised Liotta, saying, "Ray Liotta was a force of nature in that movie, I've seen him my whole career. It was such a thrill he was in."
