Andrew Garfield Responds to Oscar Predictions for 'Tick, Tick... Boom': 'I'm Deeply Shaken'

 


Andrew Garfield jaw-dropped with a stellar acting performance in the super-hit musical film, Tick, Tick... Boom, which fans think will surely fetch an Academy Award and the actor is getting the love for his film. and appeared touched by admiration.

During his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for Monday's episode, The Social Network actor, who is receiving an overwhelming response for his latest release, talked about his much-loved film.

Reacting to the film, the host of the show predicted that he would get an Oscar.

In response, The Amazing Spider-Man star said, "I was just so deeply impressed and kind of touched that I got the chance to be a part of this film and get it that way."

"It's good to be alive. It feels great," he said.

Garfield was also acknowledging his performance in Hacksaw Ridge as he received an Oscar nomination in 2017.

The film, which premiered on Netflix on November 19, is based on the autobiography of the late Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jonathan Larson.

The musical-drama has already garnered the actor a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
