Adele had to postpone the much-anticipated Las Vegas residency as the preparations could not be completed in a timely manner which is reportedly due to the perfectionist nature of the singer.
According to The Sun, a source revealed that the show's production crew were struggling with set designer Esmeralda Devlin (better known as ES).
The outlet reported that, apart from the unfolding factors of the pandemic, the Hello hit-maker kept making changes to the set.
Quoting a source, the tabloid revealed, "Despite costing the set millions to put together, Adele was unhappy with the result, and made her feelings very clear to Es."
"She was already nervous and the fall made her nervous because she was desperate that everything had to be perfect," said an insider from the outlet.
It was also spread that due to "lack of clarity about what Adele wanted", the production crew made "endless changes".
"It seemed that while she has always preferred a stripped-back performance, she was under some pressure to come up with a huge extravaganza.
The source shared, "So there was a constant ricochet between those two versions of what the show should be, and it led to some pretty explosive arguments."
