Muzaffargarh: A young man attacked and injured four members of the same family after the engagement broke off in the Civil Lines police station area on Sunday.
Yusuf, a resident of Peepal Wala Town, informed the police that he broke off his daughter's engagement with Huraira because of his bad character. Enraged, Huraira entered Yusuf's house and attacked the family members with sharp weapons. As a result, Rashida Bibi w/o Yusuf, her daughter Aiman, son Ali and Faisal were injured. Police have registered a case against the accused. Meanwhile, the District Police Officer (DPO) took cognizance of the incident and ordered the early arrest of the accused.
