Prince William attends funeral of woman who taught him to play polo

 Prince William attends the funeral of former England national polo team captain Claire Tomlinson.

According to British media, Tomlinson taught him and Harry to play polo at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire at the request of Charles.

She was the first woman to compete on equal terms against men and went on to coach England's teams.

Reportedly, Claire's sons are good friends with William and Harry and both were on the guest list at the royal weddings.

Mrs Tomlinson died at home on 13 January after a long battle with dementia and was survived by two sons and a daughter.
