The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the fixture list for the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, confirming the draw for the first round and the Super 12 groups.
As per the schedule, the tournament will run from 18 October to 13 November, with 16 teams competing and seven cities hosting matches across Australia. Twelve of those 16 countries have already been confirmed, with the final four being determined by global qualifying.
Like in the previous tournament, arch-rivals Pakistan and India have been placed together in Group 2 in the Super 12 round.
Pakistan will begin their World Cup 2022 campaign with a match against arch-rivals India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 23 October. Match will start at 1300hrs PKT.

The Pakistan team will face South Africa on 3 November at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The former champions will play their last group match against Bangladesh in Adelaide on 6 November.
The semi-finals will be played at the SCG and the Adelaide Oval on November 9 and 10 respectively. This will be the first time that the Adelaide Oval will host a World Cup semi-final.
