British Queen Elizabeth II will reportedly mark the accession day in private with family at Sandringham and visit her Norfolk home next week.
According to a report in The Sun, the 95-year-old monarch is expected to visit his Norfolk home, where his father George VI died in 1952, to mark his accession day on 6 February.
Queen Elizabeth, who will celebrate her platinum jubilee this year, has been forced to stay at Windsor Castle over Christmas and New Years and has also skipped her annual traditional visit to her Norfolk home because of coronavirus restrictions.
However, the report, citing royal insiders, said the Queen will privately celebrate her platinum jubilee with family at Sandringham on 6 February and pay a heartfelt tribute to her late father.
Elizabeth was proclaimed Queen on February 6, 1952, following the death of her father, George VI, although her coronation took place in 1953.
