Zareen Khan say she took no one's help to find success in Bollywood
Zareen Khan admits that she owes a big part of her debut to superstar Salman Khan, but says her struggles were personal.
Speaking to Hindustan Times in a recent interview, Zareen, who has completed 12 years in the Indian film industry, says that her heroic co-star has a limited role in her success.
"I am thankful to Salman because I would never have entered the industry if it was not for him. He gave me entry in the industry. But my struggle started after being a part of the industry because then I didn't know anything. Salman. Amazing man, but he is also a busy man. I can't be the monkey on his back and annoy him for small things. To this day many people think that whatever work I do, he Happens through him and it's not true. Salman is a friend and just a phone call away but I am not bothering him. And it undermines the struggle, hard work I put in."
Talking further about her journey in the industry, Zareen said: "Actors are insecure," she admits, "they are inevitable and changeable. And nobody really cares. I'm always in my space." I've been very satisfied. So, I've never been in a race. But I think I've changed a lot. Unless you're an A-lister, people won't wait for you."
