The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Los Angeles Lakers 111-110 at the Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night to secure their third win in the last five games after a go-forward lay-up of Reggie Jackson, with 4.1 seconds left in regulation.
Jackson's spinning lay-in kicked off a frantic back-and-forth sequence at the end of regulation that featured a pair of major changes and an Anthony Davis runner that gave the Lakers victory on the final buzzer.

The Lakers were once again without LeBron James, who has been battling a knee injury. However, Davis and Russell Westbrook operated the team in his absence. The Clippers remained without two of their best players, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, due to injury.

The Lakers and Clippers were once the dominant teams of the Western Conference, but with frequent injuries to both teams, they could both lead to a place in the play-in rounds. The end of Thursday's result could have a big impact on both the teams' progress.
