Rising Dion is a superhero drama series that follows Dion, a young girl with supernatural abilities. Dion's unique abilities make her the target of exploitation by a wide variety of people. Despite Nicole's best efforts, raising a gifted child like Dion is no easy task, especially when her father, Mark, is not present. In the first season, however, Pat, a close friend of Mark, steps in and acts as Dion's surrogate father and mentor. However, a twist at the end of the season casts doubt on Pat's fate and motivations. Here's what you need to know about Pat's fate and whether he will return in Season 2! Warning: There will be spoilers!
Is Pat Dead or Alive in Rising Dion ?
Pat Rollins, a friend of Mark Warren's, makes his debut in the series premiere of 'Rising Dion'. Pat made it a point to take care of Dion after Mark's death as they worked together at BIONA. Pat was in Iceland during the Aurora event, but unlike the others, he did not receive any supernatural abilities. Pat is a comic book fan who uses his understanding of the medium's philosophy to instruct Dion. He works with Nicole to save the boy from a mysterious supernatural entity known as the Crooked Man, and he helps Dion control his powers. Pat is shown as a crooked man in the final episode of the first season.
Pat's abilities are destroying him, and he must absorb the abilities of other superhumans in order to survive. Pat Mark is the mastermind behind the deaths of Charlotte Tuck and other superhumans. Pat is fascinated by Dion's abilities because she believes the boy can help her solve her problem. Nicole and Dion battle Pat in his Crooked Man form in the Season 1 finale, and with Mark's energy form, they defeat the villain. Pat is presumed dead after the fight. However, Pat is revealed to be alive in the second season premiere. He later attempts, but fails, to create an antidote for Nicole's infection. Pat then dies after being injected with all the p-DNA he has. Pat is unexpectedly resurrected in the Season 2 finale, revealing that he now has all of BIONA's superpowers.
Is Pat still a crooked man ?
Pat returns to Bayona in Season 2, nearly two years after a fight with the Crooked Man. He revealed that he had survived the Battle of Dion, but in the process the devious energy was stripped from him. The devious energy, according to Pat, made him wicked by increasing his feelings of rejection and loss. Susan and Nicole are initially skeptical of Pat's claims, but they soon discover that he is telling the truth. Pat, on the other hand, is unaware that a portion of the evil energy resides within him.
Brayden, a young boy like Dion, is the new host for the majority of Devious Energy. As a result, Brayden can be considered the new crooked man. Pat realizes he still has a negligible amount of devious energy when David takes him to investigate the sinkholes. Pat goes rogue after his near-death experience in the Season 2 finale. He voluntarily binds with the crooked energy and reverts to his original form as a crooked man. Pat's newly acquired skills make him the perfect host for the sentient evil entity.
