Klopp has confirmed that Mohamed Salah has returned to England after participating in the AFCON final with Egypt and is set to play against Leicester. They will monitor the 29-year-old's recovery after playing 120 minutes four times in 11 days before making a decision.

Sadio Mane is still celebrating his AFCON victory in Senegal and is unlikely to return to England until Thursday. Therefore, he will be unavailable for the tour of Rodgers' team.

Alisson Baker and Fabinho returned to training after being away from Brazil for the World Cup qualifier against Cardiff and are expected to return to the starting lineup.

Belgium internationals Divock Origi (knee), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez (both COVID-19) have also returned to full training and could be in contention to face Fox.

Captain Jordan Henderson was not pictured in Tuesday's training photos. Although no official reason has been given for his absence, the midfielder played heavily in the first half of the Cardiff game but managed to advance, so he is unlikely to be missed.

For the first time in a long time, Klopp has a full-power team to choose from, so decisions have to be made as to who makes the last 21, let alone the starting XI.
