 Looking for information about Rocksteady's next Triple-A title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? You have arrived at your destination.

First announced at DC Fandom 2020, and set in an Arkham-verse created by Rocksteady, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, in which DC's antihero team sets out to stop an alien invasion (led by supervisor Brainiac). Working together, threatening the world and brainwashing the Justice League.

Players will have four playable characters to choose from, each with their own "unique moves" and "advanced traversal abilities": Harley Quinn (Dr. Harleen Quinzel), Deadshot (Floyd Lawton), King Shark (Nanau), and Captain Boomerang (George "Digger" Harkness). While players will be able to play the Suicide Squad game entirely alone, you will also have the option of playing with up to three other players via online co-op.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to release sometime in 2022, making it an exciting year for DC fans as well as Warner Bros. Montreal's Gotham Knights is also set to release this year - as is the Batman movie.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to release in 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC at an unspecified date.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was technically announced on August 7, 2020, via the game's official Twitter account. An image of Superman facing off with a target on his head reveals the game's title, confirming its existence before pointing fans to DC Fandome 2020, which will take place later that month. There's a virtual online conference due to take place in the U.S. - where Rocksteady unveiled Suicide Squally. Release window and first trailer.

Outside of the 2022 release window, Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have yet to give a specific release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The developer has historically launched games between May and October (you can see it below), suggesting that this may be the release window for the expected Suicide Squad game. However, the pandemic has disrupted the development of several studios, which means we could see the game releasing closer to the end of the year.

Gameplay Trailer The first gameplay trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was shown at the Game Awards 2021. The team is tasked with taking down Flash and Brainiac, which certainly won't be easy. We see Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang and Deadshot in action, each with their own unique moves and abilities.

Story TrailerAt the DC FanDome in October 2021, another new trailer arrived for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It gives fans even more details on what to expect, from Amanda Waller recruiting Suicide Squad to a lot of gunfire and fighting in Metropolis.

There are a lot of references to previous Batman: Arkham games as well as characters you might not expect to see cropping up here, like Poison Ivy and her creepers halved. Check it out for yourself:

Trailer Revealed On August 22, 2020, as part of the DC Fandome, Rocksteady premiered the first trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Before confirming the game's location as Metropolis, it opens with a look at what appears to be an observer of Brainiac's lair. Looking down we find the reveal of Harley Quinn, followed by her fellow Task Force X members: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark.

Suicide Squad instigator Amanda Waller talks to Quinn via com and tells him to make his way to the Metropolis Grand Hotel because the "alpha target" is now out in the open and needs to be attached. After a montage where the group takes on a horde of Brainiac's army - Outkast's BOB - bombs Baghdad - they are reunited on a rooftop. Quinn then tries to remember who they should be looking for, until suddenly a helicopter is interrupted by explosives.
