Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt reveals Amitabh Bachchan wrote her a letter following Gangubai Kathiawadi
Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt has revealed that Amitabh Bachchan wrote her a generous letter after the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi.
In an interview with Barkha Dutt for Mojo Story, the filmmaker said, "I think what is unique about Alia is... she has an unquenchable thirst to go higher and higher."
“He realizes that talent comes from a different part of himself. So he is able to keep the locomotive moving forward and fuel it, as well as running this stern of tremendous empathy and an open heart as a child. She drowns in life,” said Mahesh.
He further revealed to turn to Big B for advice as he shared that he wrote a 'generous letter' to Alia after the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Mahesh asked her, "Sooner or later, we are all on top and are burnt out. Don't you think Alia will inevitably be able to reach that crossroads someday?
To this Amitabh said, 'I don't think so. Because she doesn't know how she does it. She doesn't yet know where she gets it."
