| Ananya Panday opens up on future Hollywood plans, reveals she would love to play Zendaya's Euphoria character |
Ananya Panday's recent performance in Gehriyaan was highly appreciated from all sides. A step up from his masala films, the young actor has some more big-ticket films like Liger and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan to his credit. In a recent conversation with ETimes, Ananya was asked what she thinks about other stars of her age like Zendaya who have already become global stars.
Revealing her love for the Spider-Man actor, Ananya said, "I'm so glad you talked about Zendaya because she's phenomenal! Euphoria is my favorite show." The hit web series in which Zendaya plays a troubled teenager has resonated with millions across the world.
Ananya further added, "As an actor, I don't want to bind myself to anything. That's why I would love to play such a character."
When asked if Hollywood is a possibility in the near future, Ananya said, "I would be really happy if I get an audition for something. There are so many interesting opportunities to work all over the world. OTT's Together, the world has become one. A very small place. You have access to so many different types of cinema in so many languages. So, why not?"
Speaking about her first pan-India film Liger with Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya didn't reveal much but said, "I went to the US last to shoot for LIGER. We shot there with Mike Tyson. It was very exciting. Just what I am going to say about the film now."
Ligar is scheduled to release in August 2022.
