All Harry Potter fans gathered! The new trailer for the upcoming addition to Wizarding World Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore has been released. After years of rallying through internet streets, fans will finally be able to see Dumbledore and his elusive past in the new version of the Fantastic Beast franchise.
Following on from earlier installments in the Harry Potter prequel franchise, this new version will see Eddie Redmayne reprising his role as Newt Scamander, who leads a group of witches and wizards in the film along with his friend Jacob Kowalski, the Muggle Baker. Do, portrayed by Dan Fogler. The menace of Grindelwald is back and he is more powerful and influential than ever, in this film played by Mads Mikkelsen, the heinous villain will once again wreak havoc in the wizarding world. In the other two films before this, the character of Grindelwald was essayed by Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp.
However, Depp lost the role to Mickelsen due to his defamation suit against English news outlet The Sun, which he could not win. Another exciting addition to the cast is Jude Law who will play a young Albus Dumbledore in the film. Directed by David Yates, the film has been delayed for some time due to Covid. It was originally scheduled for release in November 2021 but could not quite hold up for every fans.
For those who are eagerly waiting for the release of the film, the film is set to premiere on April 15, 2022.
