Kourtney Kardashian reveals she was barred from marrying Travis Barker for real: 'It's not called a fake marriage'

Kourtney Kardashian wanted to legally marry Travis Barker in Las Vegas

American TV personality Kourtney Kardashian was serious and wanted to legally marry her fiancé Travis Barker in Las Vegas earlier this week.

The 42-year-old star revealed that she was barred from marrying Travis Barker for real in Las Vegas. Kourtney opened up about the issue on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tomorrow night.

Travis Barker and his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian had a wedding ceremony at 2 a.m. Monday after their appearance at the Grammys in Las Vegas, although it was not legally binding as they did not have a marriage license.

During an interview with the Kardashian-Jenner family, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, 54, said that fans were not initially aware that Kourtney had only had a "fake marriage."

Kourtney though disagreed with his phrasing, saying: "Well, it's not called fake married." He then explained the issue raised by him.

"There was no possibility of obtaining a marriage license at that time," she remarked.

The host asked if she "wanted to have a real wedding," Kourtney replied: "We did. Yes. We did it anyway. It's in the heart."

Kim Kardashian Said: "Isn't Everything 24/7?" Kourtney said she thought that would be the case, but claimed she and Travis weren't able to obtain a marriage license then.

Kourtney's mom Kris Jenner, 66, and sister Khloe Kardashian, 37, admitted they knew about the ceremony.
