Sources claim Jojo Siwa's decision to pull out of 'Bounce' has nothing to do with Will Smith's Oscar incident
Academy-winning star Will Smith is getting a strong reaction for slapping comedian Chris Rock on the 2022 Oscars stage.
After Netflix and Sony, Paramount Pictures has also withdrawn its participation in the King Richard actor's upcoming film Bounce.
Furthermore, digital sensation Jojo Siwa has also turned away from starring in a Smith-backed film after the 2022 Oscars feud.
However, various sources have told Variety that Siwa pulled out of the project "months ago" and that her decision is not related to Smith's incident at the Oscars.
At the recently held GLAAD Media Awards, Siwa talked about the same. "That project was put on hold, and then it went away. It was a no-go," reported Variety.
The adaptation of Smith's film, Bounce, was first announced in 2020. The feature film based on Megan Schul's YA book was brought to the studio by Cobra Kai creator Caleb Pinkett.
