Prince Charles demands bizarre toilet unveiled by former butler

Prince Charles is very picky about his toiletries and possessions

The eccentric side of Prince Charles' personality is being explored by author Tina Brown.

In her book the following month, Ms Brown shared that the Prince of Wales sends her "bedding, furniture and even photographs" the day before she intends to visit.

He is also very particular about the orthopedic bed, the lavatory seat, and the Kleenex velvet lavatory paper.

In the documentary Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm, Diana's former butler Paul Burrell reveals: "Her pajamas are pressed every morning, her shoelaces are ironed, the bath plug has to be in a fixed position, and The temperature of the water should be just lukewarm. He asks his servants to squeeze an inch of toothpaste on his toothbrush every morning."

The Prince of Wales's royal chef Darren McGrady also shared how Charles craves a proper breakfast every morning.

Darren McGrady said: "The instruction was to put two plums and a little juice in the bowl and send it to him for breakfast. I would send two plums and he would take one so it would come back after breakfast and I'd return the other plum." Pour into jar and save.

"One morning I thought, 'Well, he only eats one for breakfast,' so I just put one plum in a bowl and sent it to the dining room. The [waiter] present came over and said, 'Can His Royal Highness Please have two?' So I had to keep sending every morning at two o'clock."
