Prince Charles fears Harry's children will 'hijack' Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Prince Charles wants to keep spotlight on Queen during summer celebrations

Prince Charles fears Platinum Jubilee celebrations could hamper the Queen's popularity with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children.

The Queen is eager to include her entire family as she celebrates 70 years as monarch, but there are concerns that the Sussex children - especially Lillibet, who turns one that month - may be hijacking her popularity. Let's make a 'circus'.

A source close to the Prince of Wales told The Sun: "Charles wants the Platinum Jubilee to focus only on the Queen.

“Many are disappointed that Andrew affected Prince Philip's Thanksgiving service and do not want Meghan and Harry to hijack the circus jubilee.

"This is the Queen's show and should be about Meghan's fashion, children and Harry, rather than her and her 70 years of service.

"They don't want this to be a Harry and Meghan show. Charles and the whole family agree on it.

Meanwhile, the royal family is also concerned that Netflix wants BTS for Platinum Jubilee celebrations, just as they need it for Harry's Invictus Games documentary.

An insider said: "The Royal Family will be keeping an eye on the respective Invictus events this week as Netflix celebrates its jubilee.

"They want to film behind the scenes or be in a crowd at Jubilee because that's better footage for a documentary."
