Prince Harry's California neighbors react to his 'US is home' remark

Prince Harry may think his home is America, but his neighbors in California think the opposite

Prince Harry may now feel that America is his home, reports The Daily Star, but his neighbors in California think otherwise.

Meghan and Harry moved to their Montecito, California home in 2020 after stepping down as senior royals in the UK, and have since lived there with their two children, Archie and Lillibet.

Just last week, Harry told NBC News' Hoda Kotb that the states were now 'home' for him. He also added: "We are welcomed with open arms and we have such a great community in Santa Barbara."

However, according to Montecito Journal author Richard Minards, Prince Harry's claim couldn't be farther from the truth.

Minards added: "Harry and Meghan haven't become part of the community and I think a lot of people are really worried about that."

He added: "It's such a lovely place to go out and they haven't been a show. It's the big question, 'Where are they at?'"

Both Prince Harry and Meghan have yet to comment on Minard's claims.
