Queen will soon be able to hug Archie, Lily, ensure Sussex couple

Meghan Markle visited the Queen this week after two years

After weaning the prince for two years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are giving their word to the Queen to love more great-grandchildren.

The senior royal source revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have promised the 95-year-old they will return to the UK after their recent day trip, and bring children Archie and Lillibet with them.

Harry and Meghan stunned royal fans when they descended on Windsor this Thursday for an "incredibly warm and good-natured" and "very cordial" reunion with the Queen.

A source close to the Sussexes said: "Both the Duke and Duchess are very aware that the Queen is growing up and has health problems related to her age.

"They have made it clear that they certainly plan to return to see the Queen with their families in the near future."

Harry and Meghan made a brief stopover to meet the Queen and Prince Charles on their way to the Netherlands. The couple is attending the Invictus Games this week.

Meanwhile, there is speculation that the Sussexes will actually arrive this summer for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

"There is a great desire for everyone to come together for the Queen as much as possible."
