However, as reported by The Mirror, the 62-year-old maintains a passion for pursuing 'a good idea' if he 'believes in it'.
About closing the door to his illustrious career, the music mogul said: 'We all definitely take it for granted. But then, what am I going to do? Ever since I started work, I've tried to go without a schedule

He quipped: 'He got my age wrong. I am actually 43 years old.'

In recent months, the tycoon has been cutting back on his work commitments, which has led to Psycho cut short and give up a pivotal role on Walk the Line as he reportedly takes the 'edge into semi-retirement'.
And in a new interview, Simon elaborated on how putting his health first was a 'priority' and shared his joy that he's now able to spend more time with his beloved son, Eric, whom he's 44. The year-old shares with fiancé Lauren Silverman.
