Britain's Prince Harry has been called a 'national jester' by Queen Elizabeth's former clergyman
Britain's Prince Harry has been dubbed a 'national jester' by Queen Elizabeth's former pastor, The Daily Star reported.
The Reverend Canon Gavin Ashenden spoke on Harry's brief visit to the Queen on April 14, and also shared his thoughts about Harry's interview with NBC News' Hoda Kotb, in which he said he wanted to 'protect' the Queen. Huh.
Speaking to GB News, Ashenden said of Prince Harry: "I think one of the most interesting things that has come out of the news of late is something we want to laugh about."
"Every country needs a jester or someone to make them laugh and I think dear Prince Harry has turned himself into our national jester," he continued.
Ashenden continued: "And coming back and stating the reason why he doesn't need national security is because his grandmother needs his personal security. It's such a surprisingly silly thing to say."
