Kate Middleton and Prince William's family of five are reportedly facing increasing threats, according to a royal expert, with nearly 170 cases of stalking reported in just one year.
Ok speaking! Magazine, royal expert Duncan Larcombe details the threats facing the royal family, especially the Cambridge family, which includes William, Kate and their three children; Princess George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.
Larcombe reveals: The safety of Kate's children is a constant concern for her but she just needs to have faith that she has these expert police officers. ,
“Over the years they have changed and increased security. After the 7/7 bombings in London, the number of security officers caring for William almost doubled, so they constantly monitor the threat,” he said .
According to Larcombe: "They take things like this very seriously. I remember an incident when William and Kate were on tour and the security officers were concerned that there was a man who was not part of the press pack. They were keeping an eye out." I am very quick and they have a circle of security.”
He shared: "There's a lot of security that gets overlooked, it's not just bodyguards walking down the street. It just shows the royals are vulnerable in every way, they always have to be vigilant."
Larcombe's comments were aided by reports that around 170 cases of stalking related to the royal family were filed by police in 2021, with about 10 high-level threats.
Meanwhile, about 128 are considered moderate risk and about 32 are considered low risk.
