Selena Gomez launches brand new mental health initiative called 'Your Words Matter'
Selena Gomez showed off a new mental health campaign on social media titled Your Words Matter.
The campaign is in collaboration with the singer's own makeup line, Rare Beauty, and speaks to the "powerful impact" of words for Mental Health Awareness Month.
The 29-year-old is known for her advocacy and through this initiative aims to "educate the power of your words when talking about mental health".
The singer also shared a screen-grabbed note directly from her Notes app and wrote, "Words can be a deterrent to people seeking help and increase the stigma associated with mental health.
He concluded by saying, "Many of these words have been generalized and accepted for a very long time, but it is time to bring awareness to the words we use ... because they matters."
