Duchess Camilla avoids mentioning Diana as she discusses past in latest interview

Ahead of her 75th birthday, Duchess Camilla sat down for an interview with British Vogue.

Camilla, who was blamed for the breakdown of the marriage between Prince Charles and Princess Diana, discussed the negative press coverage.

She tried not to comment on her past, which may have angered Prince William and Prince Harry.

Speaking to the magazine ahead of her birthday, she said, 'She just had to find a way to live with the negative press coverage she suffered from for most of her adult life.

She said that media attention "isn't easy" and added: "I was screened for so long that you have to find a way to live with it.

"No one likes to be seen all the time and, you know, criticized. But I think in the end, I rise above it and move on with it."

According to the British media, Duchess Camilla, once a target of the press, is now known for her interactions with journalists.

"You have to move on with life," she told the magazine in rare comments about her past.

The Duchess is the future Queen Consort and shares a good relationship with Diana's sons, particularly Prince William, who is second in line to the British throne.

Her husband Prince Charles would succeed her mother, Queen Elizabeth, as king.
