Ellen de Generes slams US court ruling on abortion rights: 'Get the rights we deserve'

Ellen de Generes Comments on US Court Landmark

Ellen de Generes has condemned the landmark US Supreme Court decision to end 50 years of abortion rights in the country.

On Friday, the veteran talk show host took to Twitter and said women will "stand up for their rights" this time around and won't let anyone else decide about their "bodies."

Sharing her feelings, Ellen penned a heartfelt note and wrote, "Throughout history, women have not been trusted. Not to vote, or to decide who they marry, and now to make their own decisions about their bodies. But you can trust that we will not let go of the fact that we will be heard, and that we will get the rights we deserve. #RoeVsWade

Meanwhile, fans have also agreed to Ellen's tweet and Roe v. Wade, which established the constitutional right to abortion in the United States in 1973.

One user commented, 'Men are always afraid of what they do not understand or cannot understand. Right now I'm thinking about the Salem Witch Trials."

Another said, "I feel bad for all American women to stay strong and fight because there are only women who have to fight for their rights. I think there is more respect and right to guns in America."

Apart from Ellen, many other celebrities including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston also raised their voices on social media.
