BTS member J-Hope clarified the challenges the pop band was facing before taking the stage at the Grammys 2022 in April.
During his conversation with Weavers Magazine, the Chicken Noodle Soup song-producer highlighted preparations for the performance after he and his bandmate Jungkook were tested positive for coronavirus.
"After testing positive for COVID-19, it was going to be possible just a day before the performance," he said.
"I think being on the Grammy Awards stage in those circumstances put me in the mindset that I had for the performance," he continued.
"The other members were on the verge of mental exhaustion at the time, to be honest," recalled the lead dancer in the septet.
J-Hope continued: "I kept telling myself I had to do it no matter what, got on the plane, rehearsed on location, and somehow got it all together.
"It was a lot of pressure, psychologically, as we were at the Grammys now and performing a performance similar to what we did shortly after the start.
"The idea behind the performance was for us to say, Let's do it again for them. We can land that kind of performance at the Grammys. We're BTS!" He added.
