James Bond boss Prince William eyed for next 007 film: 'Ticks all the boxes'

Prince William could be your next James Bond!

The Duke of Cambridge, who is second in line to the throne, could also debut with the world's most famous spy film.

The filmmakers are reportedly eyeing the 40-year-old to be the next Bond and admitted that William "ticked all the boxes" for the role.

Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson met with William at Buckingham Palace on Friday to receive the CBE.

Following the receptionist's respect, he admitted that they were "still on the hunt" as he quipped that William would be an ideal candidate.

Ms. Broccoli gave the future king "tick all the boxes" for the coveted role.

After receiving his respect he said: “Unfortunately, the person we just met is not available.

"Unfortunately, he is busy, but he would be the perfect candidate - ticks all the boxes.

"But that's not available, sadly, so we're still on the hunt."

At last year's Earthshot Awards, William was compared to Bond with his dapper look in a tuxedo.

Viewers tweeted that he was "awesome James Bond look", while one argued: "I think Prince William should take James Bond's place seriously."
