John Stamos called for the 75th Annual Tony Awards not to include the late Bob Saget in tribute to late theatrical stars.
Ahead of the event, the actor-musician took to Twitter to express his disappointment for turning down the comedian.
"Disappointed to hear that @bobsaget will be out of the In Memoriam segment tonight," he tweeted.
Stamos said, "Bob was fantastic in The Drowsy chaperone and Hand to God. Come on @BroadwayLeague and @TheWing! Doing the right thing! Bob loved Broadway and I know the community loved him."

Let’s make some noise about this everyone - and send our love and good wishes to the hosts @ArianaDeBose, @JulianneHough and my buddy @DarrenCriss and all the well-deserved nominees.
In the In Memoriam segment at the awards ceremony on Sunday, stars such as William Hurt, Sidney Poitier, Peter Scolari, Robert Morse, Joan Didion and Stephen Sondheim were featured, except for Saget.
On January 9, a day after performing a comedy show outside Jacksonville, Saget was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida.
