Britain's Prince William was seen on the streets of London selling copies of homeless magazine The Big Issue on Thursday, firing off a card machine to lure potential buyers.
The future king wore the magazine's official red baseball cap and jacket as he tried to entice passersby in the Westminster area to buy a copy.
Richard Hannant, 47, posed for a photo with the prince, which was shared on LinkedIn by his brother-in-law, Matthew Gardner.
"What an honor to spend a private moment with our future King, who was humble and working quietly in the background, helping the most needy," Gardner wrote.
"This unique occasion culminated when Prince William asked my brother-in-law if he wanted to buy Big Issue, to which he replied: 'I have no change'.
"At this point William built a mobile card machine. You can't teach that!"
Cab driver Neil Kramer also shared a photo of him selling the magazine with Prince.
Britain held an outing on Sunday after concluding four days of celebrations in honor of her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's record-breaking 70 years on the throne.
William has long worked on homelessness issues and has been a patron of the Centerpoint charity working on the issue since 2005.
The charity said that in December 2009, he spent the night on the road with Centrepoint's CEO to deepen his understanding of the challenges facing young homeless people.
According to YouGov, the 39-year-old is the most popular royal behind the Queen, with 66 percent favorability, thanks to her low-key manner with the public and her charity work....AFP
