Actress Talula Riley, who is twice married to Elon Musk, has reflected on her relationship with the Tesla billionaire.
Elon Musk, who recently broke his silence on the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp defamation lawsuit and wished both the actors to move forward, has been praised by his ex-wife Riley.
Riley, whose new dystopian novel The Quickening is out now, was married to Musk twice — the first time from 2010 to 2012 and the second time from 2013 to 2016.
Reflecting on her relationship with the billionaire, the author admitted that 'it seems strange that she married Elon Musk twice.'
In an interview with The Independent, Riley said: "I think the reason I remarried was simply because it felt silly to be single after being married. You know, it's kind of a habit. We say were, 'This is my husband.' 'This is my wife.' 'Oh, wait, no, we're not that anymore. We'll be better off again.'
Riley said she shares a "very deep love and connection" with Musk: "He's a great friend. He looks out for me. We're in a happy place now, where we're good to each other." , which is really cool. I love him the most."
The actor, who is now dating her Pistols co-star Thomas Brody-Sangster, said she took a career break from her first marriage to Justin Musk to take care of Musk's five children.
"It wasn't really a traditional housewife role," she said. "I mean, there were rockets and cars, and things were flying ... there was a lot going on - a lot that was very stimulating.
"We [he and Musk's kids] were very involved in what was going on. It was a collective effort. A family-wide effort."
Riley insisted on her ex-husband: "Elon was great. For all that he held me together. So it wasn't like I was stuck in a mansion in Bel Air like a trophy wife, which isn't fun. Of course, I saw this for others. But luckily, it wasn't my destiny."
