British actor Hugh Grant has denied reports that he will play Prince Andrew in a film about the Duke of York.
He dismissed a report from Deadline which said that the actor was on the shortlist to play the role of the queen's son in the film titled "Scoop".
"No, I'm not. Never heard of it," Grant said on Twitter.
The upcoming film is about how the BBC got a bombshell interview with the Queen's second son.
Prince Andrew talks about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in a BBC interview.
Acclaimed Your Honor screenwriter Peter Moffatt is writing the screenplay for a film titled Scoop, according to Deadline.
The news is likely to upset Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family.
