Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's popularity in the US may be on the downside, according to British journalist Piers Morgan, who claimed the Americans were 'done' with the Sussexes, reports Newsweek.
Morgan's remarks came during her talkTV show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, in which she spoke to controversial royal author Tom Bower, whose new book, Revenge, is making headlines this week because of its blatant claims about Harry and Meghan.
Speaking to Bower about her claims in the book that Meghan had 'successed' in achieving her goal of global stardom by marrying Prince Harry, Morgan questioned: "Is the Sussex brand on the bottom?"
Then he added: "A lot of my American friends are totally done with them, which they weren't even a year ago."
Bower then said that his book may also have contributed to the Sussexes' allegedly declining popularity in America, adding: "This book may accelerate the downward trend, which I would not regret at all because they were royals." A real threat to the family."
