Prince Harry slammed for 'direct criticism of US government'

Prince Harry doesn't seem to respect his royal protocol much as he sparked a bitter controversy after he "controversially" criticized the US Supreme Court's decision.

Legal and royal experts have clashed over whether the Duke of Sussex was right to voice his opinion on political matters during his keynote address at the United Nations.

"We all know the royals shouldn't get into politics, even though on this show last week we were talking about how William's been doing it lately. But Harry's doing it and subtly Absolutely not," royal commentator Kristen Menger said on Newsweek's The Royal Report podcast.

Kristen Menzer rebuked the Duke, saying: "It's pretty clear what he's talking about. He's criticizing the United States, what the government is doing - pulling back on the people. Not subtle at all. It's an outright criticism of the US government."

However, Jack Royston - the royal correspondent - disagreed, saying the Duke has every right to comment as his wife and children are American.

He added: “I don’t think if he was a working member of the royal family he would never have done it. However, he is out now and so really his royal convention is not going to be completely involved in politics now really Meghan and Doesn't apply to Harry. He has every right to go and say whatever he likes about political issues. Here he took a decision of the US Supreme Court so it's as controversial as it gets and They have done it at the United Nations."

Queen Elizabeth's grandson, Prince Harry, came under criticism after the US Supreme Court overruled its decision to remove constitutional rights to abortion by repealing the historic Roe v Wade law.
