Shakira offered to take full responsibility for the children but Gerard Pique turned down the offer
Shakira has taken her children Sasha and Milan with her to California, while Gerard Pique refuses to spend some peaceful time there.
According to Marca on the show Chisme No Like, the Whenever, Wherever singer will also hold an "emergency meeting" with the sports star over the custody of her children.
The outlet revealed that the footballer is in Miami where Barcelona is touring the United States, however, it has not been confirmed whether he will travel to San Diego to meet with Shakira.
The two parted ways after spending 12 years together and are now involved in a legal battle over the custody of their boys.
The Colombian singer has offered to take full responsibility for the children as she plans to move them to Miami later, but Pique does not want them to leave Barcelona.
The mother-in-law offered to pay for their trips to Miami in first class five times a year and said the children would spend the summer with their father.
Shakira's generous offer doesn't end there as she has offered to cover 20% of Pick's debt - some $2.5 million - which is gone because of legal issues in Spain.
However, the footballer has refused to accept the deal and has asked his lawyers to prepare a counter proposal.
