On Twitter, a post went viral in which a Zion-themed boat was visible in the city. The message was not very subtle.

The situation in New Orleans has taken a bizarre turn in the past few weeks. During an email to target season ticket holders, Zion's name was dropped entirely, despite being the team's main draw in the previous season.
When the team was traded for CJ McCallum earlier this month, Williamson took several days to welcome and congratulate his new teammate, prompting a heated response from former Pelicans guard, JJ Reddick.
"There's a general set of behavior that you need to enforce as a teammate," Reddick said. “Like, it shows a complete lack of investment in your team, in the organization, in City. I think he is injured and away from the team, but you traded for one of the 50 best players in the league, A. The guy you want to hook up with. Reach out and say hello."

Zion hasn't made a public appearance in months, leaving many fans wondering what's really going on behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, the Pelicans continue to play without him during the team's buildup, feeling that they may compete upon their eventual return.
