Johnny Depp denies physically torturing Amber Heard
"Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp denied physically torturing Amber Heard as he took the stand of a witness in a defamation trial against his ex-wife on Tuesday.
Depp took the stand of witness after testimonies from Sean Bett and Keenan Wyatt, a member of his security detail, who had served as a sound engineer on several of his films.
Both men testified that they had never seen Depp become violent in any way.
"I've never seen Johnny abusing anyone," Wyatt said.
Bett said he had seen Heard throw a "water bottle or plastic cup" at Depp once.
Earlier, Johnny Depp denied physically torturing Amber Heard.
"There were arguments and things like that, but I myself never got to the point of killing Miss Heard," Depp told the jury hearing the case in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia.
"Nor have I ever killed a woman in my life," he said.
