Prince Andrew caused 'horrible uproar' at charity auction, photo 'burst'

A photo of Prince Andrew managed to cause a 'terrible uproar' at a charity auction

As The Daily Mail reports, a photo of Prince Andrew managed to create a 'terrible uproar' at a charity auction organized by a lavish London club.

According to reports, the Chelsea Arts Club showed a black and white portrait of the disgraced Duke of York at the If I Ruled the World charity exhibition.

However, in 2000 the picture clicked by club member John Stoddart was torn down by an angry club member who has yet to return the picture.

Daily Mail editor Richard Eden also reported that Andrew's photo had fetched £210 from an anonymous bidder.

The news of the uproar comes just days after Andrew caused royal frenzy by escorting his mother, Queen Elizabeth, to his late father Prince Philip's memorial service on March 29.
