Princess Charlotte is on her way to surpass her mother Kate Middleton in popularity!
Princess Charlotte is poised for major popularity in the coming years, with a royal expert claiming that the younger royal may be overshadowing her mom Kate Middleton over the next few years.
Express UK reported that the Cambridges face a challenging future as their rapidly growing children, who are already proving popular, could be in the public eye in the near future.
Royal correspondent Richard Palmer compared the royal family to a 'national soap opera' in which members' popularity fluctuates while speaking on the Royal Round-up.
Palmer said: "It's a national serial of the royal family and there should always be a black sheep in the family. So, people's popularity will go up and down."
"It may well be that you're 15 years down the line, and William and Kate are the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the people at that level are definitely young people, saying we're going to have Prince George, Prince Far more interested in Charlotte..." he added.
Palmer then said that the popularity contest is always going to be "an issue" for the royal family.
