Prince William and Prince Charles are 'absolutely opposed' to Prince Andrew's return to public duties
The Mirror reports that Prince William and Prince Charles, the heirs to the British throne, were 'completely opposed' to the idea of Prince Andrew returning to public duties.
The Duke of York surprised the British public with his leading role at the memorial service for his late father Prince Philip with Queen Elizabeth on March 29.
However, royal experts hold to the belief that Charles and William will not allow Andrew to feature prominently during his mother's platinum jubilee celebrations.
Speaking to The Mirror, Richard Fitzwilliams said: "In terms of royal events, I don't expect us to see Prince Andrew in the near future - if ever again."
"He won't play any sort of role in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee; about that I think we can be absolutely sure. Prince Charles and William will be totally opposed to it, it's a non-starter." they shared.
