Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of being extremely reclusive
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of being extremely reclusive since moving to the US, with no 'celeb friends' around them, according to a royal expert.
The royal wrote after Daniela Elser's comment that Harry and Meghan were turned down by David and Victoria Beckham at their son Brooklyn Beckham's weekend wedding to Nicola Pelts. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton were invited.
While many say it's the 'social snub of the year', Elser believes this isn't the first time Prince Harry and Meghan have been left off important lists since moving to the US.
Writing for News.com.au, Elser said: "This latest Sussex-free incident follows rumors from earlier this year that we would see Harry and/or Meghan presenting an award on the Oscars stage , a glorious moment that clearly didn't come to pass."
She continued: "Neither was the Montecito-based royal expatriate on the red carpet for the Met Gala in New York or on Martha's Vineyard for President Barack Obama's 60th birthday last year."
Elser shared that she genuinely believes that Harry and Meghan are sneaking major events for "one night."
She continued: "However, for whatever reason, the remarkable thing about the Sussexes is how restrained their social lives have been, having talked about creating content since leaving the UK."
