Adele's Las Vegas residency finds place at Zappos Theater

Adele left her longtime set designer, Esmeralda "S" Devlin, amid rumors that the two had explosive arguments over the show's vision.

Adele's Las Vegas residency got a spot at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood, which she said will have her postponed shows this year.

The 33-year-old British star disappointed fans in January after a flashy set of the Caesars Palace show was postponed 24 hours before her first performance at the venue, with many spending thousands on tickets and plane fares. Got them out of pocket to see them on stage.

But according to TMZ, Adele and her team at Planet Hollywood are in "serious talks" with the public to get their show there, barring any unforeseen circumstances and performances will begin within months.

The publication said the move would come with 'major perks' for the Easy On Me hitmaker, including his 'complete creative control over the show'.

They also say that Adele will get a 'big cut in ticket sales', a boost from her prior deal as the Zappos Theater seats 7,000 people, while The Colosseum seats 4,100.

The singer had originally postponed her Weekends with Adele to January 20, citing the COVID-19 pandemic as a mitigating factor.

It was previously suggested that Keith Urban was in place to belt out his greatest hits at the venue, with Keith Urban ending his residency on June 18, before Los Stewart set up shop on September 23.

Addressing the issue in February, a source told The Sun on Sunday: 'That's the scheduling that makes the most sense.

'Negotiations are ongoing at the moment, and it is expected that Adele's rearranged dates will be agreed very soon.

'She has made it clear that next year is not an option, and everyone is keen to lock the dates.'

It was previously reported that the delay was short for the singer unhappy with the set design, especially at a swimming pool built in the middle of the stage.
