Amber Heard reveals she texts dad to prove Johnny Depp 'kick'

Amber Heard brings to light another evidence during her first interview since trial

Amber Heard brought to light another evidence during her first interview since Johnny Depp's trial as she traced her text messages to her father.

During his interview with Dateline's Savannah Guthrie, which aired on June 17, the Aquaman actor's legal team presented several messages to NBC reporters.

In a text message to her father, Heard detailed how she was abused by her ex-husband in 2014.

"I don't fight back. He literally kicked me and called me a (derogatory) in front of everyone on the plane. This is outrageous,” the message read.

Guthrie revealed that at trial the judge said the message was deemed unacceptable in court.

In addition, Heard also claimed that her therapist kept 'notes of the years' back to 2011, which details her abuse during this time.

"Her notes represented years of real-time explanation of what was happening," she said during the interview.
