Britain rejects Meghan Markle's daughter Lillibet as 'princess': 'No relation to UK'

Britons don't want Meghan Markle's children to be eligible for the titles of prince and princess

Britons do not demand royal titles for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's children.

In a new poll conducted by Express.co.uk, locals claim the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children do not deserve any special treatment even after Prince Charles becomes king.

According to tradition and a rule set by King George V, the grandchildren of an emperor may be eligible for the titles 'prince' or 'princess'. Meghan, however, has decided that her children will be called by their surname Mountbatten-Windsor.

When 24,501 were asked the same question, 95% demanded that no title be given to Sussex children.

In a more qualitative response, he replied: "Harry chose to give up his royal role so that his offspring would be involved."

"From what I remember, Harry and Meghan didn't want the kids to have titles."

"No! No! No! No! No!" added a third.

"There is no crime to have two little children because they are innocent children, but no, they should not be given the royal title.

"The two children in California have no connection to Britain or the royal family, they have no need for British royal titles.

"They are never going to be senior royals and they are unlikely to spend most of their lives in the UK."
