Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are bound to fade into the background with the latest royal treatment.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who landed in the UK earlier this month, were given a cold shoulder by the royals, who put them second in line at the Queen's Thanksgiving service.
Royal expert Neil Sr has now claimed on his YouTube channel that they are "at an impasse".
Mr Sean said: "What William was looking for when Harry and Meghan came back to the UK was a fake standard apology.
"Just have to say something like, 'I'm sorry for what I said, I possibly spoke out of line' but there seemed to be nothing coming next.
"It's been really hard for William to recover from this."
He added: "Sadly for Harry and Meghan they don't want to take back any elements of that particular interview or statement so you can imagine it's a complete standoff.
"As far as Prince William is concerned, there is nothing more to be said at this stage."
Meghan and Harry left the Royal Family in 2020 after stepping down as senior royals. The couple now resides in California with children Archie and Lily.
