Queen denies Meghan, Harry's balcony appearance to 'prevent' Andrew's presence

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Won't Join the Royal Family at Trooping the Color

Experts say the glimpse of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's balcony at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations is due to potential Prince Andrew backlash.

Angela Levine said during her conversation with Sky News that the Queen had made the tough decision to protect the family from public anger. Andrew was accused of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre several times. The Duke was later banished by the Queen, where he also lost his military titles.

Sky News host Kay Burley spoke to Ms Levine on the show.

Ms Burley asked: "Will we see [Meghan and Harry] on the balcony?".

Ms. Levine replied, "No, the Queen has been firm about it".

"The way he's done it, if you're not a working royal, you can't be on him.

"It's a way to stop Prince Andrew from going out [on the balcony]".

She continued: "I think there would be a lot of anger between all of us [if Andrew were to appear]".

The Queen, along with other working royals including Prince Charles, William, Camilla, Kate Middleton and more, will mark Trooping the Colour on Thursday.
